TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — A fisherman was rescued after his motorbanca capsized in waters off Bohol on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026.

The Coast Guard Station Eastern Bohol, through its Coast Guard Sub-Station Jagna, launched a search and rescue operation after receiving a report of the incident in waters between the municipalities of Jagna and Garcia Hernandez.

The rescue team, in coordination with the Special Operations Unit–Eastern Bohol and Bantay Dagat personnel, located fisherman Ronald Aclan clinging to his partially submerged motorbanca in waters between Valencia and Garcia Hernandez.
