Artists from Bohol showcased the province’s rich cultural heritage during the Association of Southeast Asian Nation (Asean) Summit held on January 21–22, 2026, through a series of traditional music and dance performances that were presented to local and international delegates.

The Lumad Lobocanon represented Bohol with performances of Bolibongkingking and Kuradang de Loboc, two traditional expressions deeply rooted in Loboc’s cultural history. The presentations were well received by summit participants, who applauded the authenticity and quality of the performances.

The cultural program also featured artists and groups from different parts of the province, including Lumad Napoanon, the Kasing-Sining Group, the Dimiao Children’s Rondalla, Hannah Precillas, Julia Faith Joaquin, and Music and Me, highlighting the breadth of Boholano artistic talent.

A highlight of the program was the performance of the Loboc Children’s Choir, which sang selections in various Asean languages, reflecting the summit’s theme of regional cooperation and cultural exchange.

The event was hosted by Miss Supranational 2024 Alethea Ambrosio. The cultural activities were organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) through its Kasing-Sining program as part of its efforts to promote Filipino arts and culture in international events.

Organizers said the cultural presentation aimed to strengthen cultural ties among Asean member states while showcasing the Philippines’ diverse traditions through the participation of Bohol’s artists.
