TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — Police authorities arrested two alleged high-value drug suspects and seized nearly P70 million worth of suspected shabu during an intelligence-driven anti-illegal drugs operation late Tuesday night, January 6, 2026, in Barangay Dampas, this city.
The operation, conducted around 11 p.m. in Purok 2, was carried out by operatives of the Bohol Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Intelligence Unit and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PIU/PDEU), in coordination with the Tagbilaran City Police Station.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Felix Gallogo, 39, also known as “Babals,” a resident of Canmanico, Valencia, Bohol, and Leonie Lambuson, 47, married, a resident of Magdaong Drive, Poblacion, Muntinlupa City, originally from Calaca-an, Iloilo.
Both were tagged by police as High-Value Individuals (HVI) on the drug watchlist.
Confiscated from the suspects were 10,285.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) with an estimated standard drug price of P69,942,080. Also seized were a cellular phone, buy-bust money, a black eco bag believed to have been used to contain the illegal drugs, and a white Isuzu MU-X allegedly used to transport the contraband.
The suspects are currently detained at the Tagbilaran City Police Station, while the seized drugs and non-drug evidence were turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
Police are preparing charges against the suspects for violations of Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Bohol Police Provincial Director Col. Patricio Degay Jr. commended the operating units for the successful operation and reaffirmed the Bohol police’s commitment to public safety.
“This accomplishment sends a clear message of our commitment to public safety. As 2026 begins, the Bohol Police Provincial Office remains proactive and steadfast in working with the community for a safer and more secure Bohol. We will sustain this momentum and continue delivering results,” he said in a statement.
