MANILA, Philippines — Iloilo City’s distribution utility, MORE Electric and Power Corporation (MORE Power), has clinched one of the highest distinctions at the 2025 Asia CEO Awards, emerging as the Grand Winner for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Company of the Year under the Innodata Circle of Excellence.
The recognition, bestowed during ceremonies held on October 14 at the Manila Marriott Grand Ballroom, cements MORE Power’s reputation as a national benchmark for corporate citizenship and sustainable development.
The Asia CEO Awards—widely regarded as one of Southeast Asia’s most prestigious business honors—celebrates organizations that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, and social impact.
MORE Power was cited for its holistic CSR programs that focus on environmental stewardship, livelihood generation, and youth development, all designed to create long-term, community-driven change.
“These initiatives show that MORE Power’s mission goes beyond providing electricity—it’s about empowering lives,” said Janet Petilla, Vice President for Project Delivery at Innodata Knowledge Services. “CSR is the gold standard of true corporate excellence, and companies that uphold it attract trust, loyalty, and lasting success.”
In its statement, MORE Power expressed gratitude for the recognition, reaffirming its commitment to advancing pro-people and pro-environment programs that uplift communities and promote sustainable growth.
“CSR is at the heart of what we do,” the company said. “We believe that responsible business and community progress must go hand in hand.”
Since beginning operations as Iloilo City’s sole power distributor in 2020, MORE Power has distinguished itself not only for operational excellence but also for its hands-on community engagement.
The company bested a competitive roster of finalists, including AXA Philippines, Concentrix Philippines, Gardenia Bakeries (Philippines), Inc., PLDT and Smart, Robinsons Land Corporation, PJ Lhuillier Inc., Genpact, Wipro Philippines, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, among others.
The latest award underscores MORE Power’s growing role as a model of corporate conscience in the Philippine energy sector—proving that progress shines brightest when powered by purpose.
