Terminal fee collection suspended at Cebu Baseport amid structural assessment

CEBU CITY – The Cebu Port Authority (CPA) has announced the temporary suspension of terminal fee collection at Pier 1 and Pier 3 passenger terminals following the ongoing full structural assessment of the facilities.

Access to the two passenger terminals remains restricted pending the completion of the inspection. As a result, passengers with confirmed bookings are advised to proceed directly in front of their assigned terminals for check-in and boarding procedures.

To ease movement, port shuttle services have been deployed to ferry passengers from the terminal lobby to their designated vessels.

The CPA urged passengers to remain alert for further announcements, particularly on changes in trip schedules or terminal access, as assessments continue.

“We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation while we ensure the safety and integrity of our facilities,” the advisory stated.
