TAGBILARAN CITY— The Diocese of Tagbilaran bid farewell to Bishop Alberto Uy during a special Mass held at St. Joseph Cathedral Shrine-Parish on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 9 a.m., coinciding with the Twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time.
The farewell Mass gathered clergy, faithful, and members of the community to honor Bishop Uy’s years of service in the diocese.
Bishop Uy is set to travel to Cebu Sunday afternoon in preparation for his installation as the new Archbishop of Cebu this coming Tuesday, marking a new chapter in his ecclesiastical journey.
The Diocese of Tagbilaran expressed gratitude for his leadership, pastoral guidance, and contributions to the spiritual life of the local community.
