Boholana secures 2nd place in Midwifery Exam

Veronica Badilla- Dumaran of Bohol Island State University (BISU) – Calape finished 2nd in the Nov. 2021 Midwifery Board Examination conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission in November.

Badilla- Dumaran obtained an exemplar rating of 89.45 percent – a feat that came as a bolt from the blue.

Yesa Papa Garganera of Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery wad the first placer with 89.80 percent.

Along her were three fellow BISU students who successfully passed the said examination and provided the College with a 94. 12 percent passing rate.

Badilla-Dumaran is also a registered nurse and a licensed professional teacher.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said that 908 out of 1,774 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, San Fernando, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November 2021.
