TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol – Police seized over P7 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Isidro here on Tuesday night, August 12.
Authorities arrested “Nonoy,” 40, a jobless resident of Carmen town, tagged as a high-value individual. Seized from him were about 1,035 grams of suspected shabu worth P7,038,000, a .45 caliber pistol with ammunition, a cellphone, buy-bust money, a backpack, and a motorcycle allegedly used to transport the drugs.
Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) Director Col. Arnel Banzon lauded the operatives and vowed continued efforts to rid the province of illegal drugs.
Lt. Col. Norman Nuez, spokesman of BPPO, urged the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
