PANGLAO ISLAND, BOHOL – The Sun Life 5150 Triathlon Bohol and Sunrise Sprint are making a strong comeback this July at The Bellevue Resort, drawing over 850 athletes and breaking previous attendance records.
The event continues to hold the distinction as the largest 5150 distance triathlon in the Philippines.
Set in the island paradise of Panglao, Bohol, the race offers not only world-class competition but also a stunning tropical backdrop. With its pristine beaches, clear waters, and warm community support, Bohol proves to be the ideal venue for an unforgettable race experience.
The Olympic-distance 5150 features a 1.5km swim, 40km bike, and 10km run. The Sunrise Sprint caters to beginners with a 750m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run. Athletes may join as individuals or relay teams in the 5150, while the Sprint is for solo competitors.
The festivities begin on July 11 with athlete check-in and an expo at The Bellevue Resort.

This year also features the Bagong Bayani category, celebrating elite Filipino athletes who’ve represented the country globally. The top male and female finishers will each receive ₱10,000.
The triathlon is part of the Sandugo Festival, with Sun Life Philippines as title sponsor. The Province of Bohol, The Bellevue Resort, and the municipalities of Dauis and Panglao are official venue and course partners. The event is supported by Amlan, Ion+, 2Go, Philippine Sports Commission, Salt+Fin, Santé, Manila Bulletin, Tempo, House C-Vitt, and Cobra Rise. Sportograf is the official media partner.
