The provincial governments of Cebu and Bohol on Monday approved a resolution to enter into a sisterhood agreement.
The sisterhood agreement was formalized in an approved resolution during the joint session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigans of Cebu and Bohol held at the Cebu Capitol Session Hall on Monday.
Cebu Vice Governor Hilario Davide III and Bohol Vice Governor Tita Baja led the joint session considered as first joint session by two provinces.

The resolution was jointly authored by Board Members Glen Anthony Soco and Michael Joseph Villamor of Cebu and co-authored by lawyer Jiselle Rae Aumentado-Villamor of Bohol.
Its purpose is to strengthen and foster inter-provinces’ bond of cooperation in relation to tourism, commerce, business and economy and other shared benefits and growth for the Central Visayas region.
