Capitol hosts Handog ng Pangulo on Sept. 13

Bohol will join the simultaneous nationwide distribution of comprehensive government assistance on Friday morning, September 13, 2024.

Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado will lead various national government agencies as well as offices of the provincial government in providing services and handing out assistance during the convergence initiative dubbed Handog ng Pangulo Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat at the Capitol Lobby and backstage grounds.

The Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) will make consultation services available for the informal sector while the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority will turn over allowances and scholarships for some 50 technical vocational students.

Meanwhile, the Department of Agriculture will hand over projects to People’s Organizations.

Assistive devices will be given to persons with disabilities (PWD) beneficiaries through the Department of Health with the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development.

Livelihood assistance will also be provided to rebel returnees under a program of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Along with this, the Bohol One Stop Shop (BOSS) Abante Serbisyo Caravan, an initiative of the Bohol Economic Development And Investment Promotion Office in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Securities and Exchange Commission, Social Security System, Pag-ibig, Philhealth, DOLE and DTI will also be held. Aspiring entrepreneurs may avail of various services enabling them to start and manage their businesses.

In addition, job seekers can explore opportunities at the Special Recruitment Activity facilitated by the Bohol Employment and Placement Office – Public Employment Service Office.

Moreover, local produce and other products are also available through the Kadiwa ng Pangulo that will be set up during the event.
