Boholano artisans will be showcasing their work at the Sandugo Otop (One Town One Product) Trade Expo at Island City Mall, scheduled from July 17 to 22.

BHL Artisans is a priority program of the provincial government of Bohol (PGBh) that promotes the empowerment of local micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Under the program, the provincial government through the Bohol Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (Bedipo) partnered with Holistic Coalition Of the Willing HoliCOW- PH, a Good Design for Systems awardee.

According to Bedipo, four to six new design collections were meticulously crafted by eight strategically selected beneficiary MSMEs, incorporating the ideas from world-renowned designers.

The output products are categorized broadly as fashion, home and lifestyle, and sustainable goods incorporating elements of Boholano culture, history, and lore.

They are also packaged to be conveniently brought back as pasalubong, Bedipo added.

Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Central Visayas and DTI- Bohol in partnership with PGBh, Tagbilaran City Government, Island City Mall and Alturas Group of Companies.

Locally processed food products, wearables and home styles, health and wellness products, and furniture, crafts, and delectable delicacies from local artisans and entrepreneurs from Bohol and other regions from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be showcased at the annual Sandugo trade fair.
