The City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) handed over P100,000 cash gift to a centenarian in the city.
The recipient of the centenarian cash gift was Vicente D. Dela Peña, a resident of
Sta Cruz, Poblacion 3.
Mayor Jane Yap joined the CSWD staff in handing over the cash gift to Dela Peña pursuant to Republic Act 10868, otherwise known as the “Centenarians Act of 2016.”
Yap asked Dela Peña what’d the secret for his longevity
Dela Peña answered “Kulafu.”
“Wala ko kasagang! Grabe ako katawa 😆 Bilib kaayo ko sa memory and ka askil ni Tatay Vicente. Good vibes kaayo,” Yap said.
