The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) VII is currently conducting asurvey among the Kasambahays and their employers to determine their current condition and
prevailing salary.
The result of the said survey will aid the Board in determining the necessity of adjusting the minimum wage of the Kasambahays and in assessing how DOLE can further help them.
For this reason, RTWPB VII is encouraging all stakeholders, Kasambahays and their employers alike, to take part in the survey to enable the Board to come up with a realistic result.

The survey will run until end of February 2024, RTWPB VII encourages the participation of all stakeholders and welcomes assistance by sharing the link/QR code to their fellow Kasambahays
and employers.
The current minimum wage for the Kasambahays in Region VII is Php 5,500.00 for Cities and First Class Municipalities and Php 4,500.00 for other municipalities. Said minimum wage is already more than a year old as it took effect last June 14, 2022.
During the series of public hearings conducted last July to August 2023 for the increase of theminimum wage of the workers in private establishment, the increase of the Kasambahay
minimum wage was part of the agenda.
The Board however decided to defer the resolution of the Kasambahay wage increase, pending further study on the matter.
By March or April 2024, the Board will once again discuss the wages of the Kasambahays the result of the survey can assist the Board in deciding on the necessity of increasing the wages of the kasambahays.
