TAGBILARAN CITY – Police authorities have arrested on Friday a “high value individual” drug suspect with P1,088,000.00 worth of alleged shabu’ in a buy-bust operation, police report said as quoted by Mayor Roman Bullen of dauis town, about 5 kilometers from here.
The suspect is identified as Jemar Suan Sumaylo, alias “Pangog,” 36, single and jobless. He is a native of Zamboanga City and presently residing at Purok 5, Barangay Santa Cruz, Sierra Bollunes, Bohol.
The suspect is facing cases for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act or Republic Act 9165 and Republic Act 10591, the report said.
Seized from the suspect were 160 grams of illegal drugs, also locally known as shabu, with Standard Drug Price (SDP) amounting to Php1,088,000.00 and a caliber .38 revolver loaded with two (2) live ammunitions.
In a meeting this month, the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) presided over by Gov. Aris Aumentado bared a total of P72,385,524.00 worth of 10,644.93 grams of alleged shabu and P2,400.00 worth of marijuana during the January-July 2023 period.
The police authorities nabbed a total of 417 of street level individual (SLI) and high vale individual (HVI) in 371 operations during the same period. (rvo)
