Senator Imee R. Marcos will be the guest of honor and speaker of the Sandugo street dancing and ritual showdown on Sunday, July 30, 2023.
Marcos will arrive from Iloilo City’s Liga Day celebration.
She will also lead the distribution of assistance to individuals in crisis situations (AICS) benefits to qualified residents of Buenavista, Clarin and Dauis towns.
She will join the Sandugo Festival grand parade.
The Sandugo Festival, an annual historical celebration, commemorates the Treaty of Friendship between Datu Si Katuna, a chieftain in Bohol, and Spanish conquistador Miguel Lopez de Legazpi.
