Former youth leader now Sevilla town councilor Marie Karen Digal-Asoy took her oath on Wednesday, June 29, at the barangay hall of Ewon in Sevilla.
The oath-taking ceremony was administered by Romeo Sarong Guatno Llanto.
It was witnessed by her husband former, Sangguniang Kabataan Provincial Federation President Doxson Asoy; her mother, former Sevilla Mayor Ernesita Digal; officials of Barangay Ewon, outgoing Councilor Leoning Pacatang, Guinob- an village chief Inday Tiongco Pacatang and other visitors.
Digal-Asoy is the daughter of former Sevilla mayors Ceferino and Ernesita Digal.
She became Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) municipal federated president of Sevilla in 2007-2010.
