A newborn placed inside an eco-bag was found inside the toilet at Jagna Public Market on Wednesday afternoon, June 8, 2022.
Jagna police said it was the toilet cleaner identified Analiza Ortega who found the newborn later identified as a boy at 5:30 p. m.
Police Staff Sergeant Jonalyn Llemit of Jagna Police Station’s Women and Children Protection Desk said the baby was covered with blood.
Ortega called for help since the baby boy was still moving. It was brought to Teodoro B. Galagar District Hospital but it was declared dead on arrival.
