Ern Pahayahay, a radio personality, held a proclamation rally at Barangay Bingag covered court on Saturday afternoon, April 2.

He is running for councilor in Dauis town as an independent candidate.

Pahayahay was joined on stage by board member Lucille Lagunay who is seeking reelection, Panglao Mayor Leonila Montero, former Tagbilaran Mayor Dan Lim who is running for mayor, and Angkla partylist representative Cedric Mabalot.

Speaking before supporters from different barangays, Pahayahay expressed his gratitude for their unwavering support.

As a barangay kagawad of Bingag, he was involved for the timely implementation of policies, programs and projects of the village, including pandemic-response initiatives.

He appealed to Dauisanons to vote for him. He promised to work hard for more innovative and high-impact programs aimed to build a sustainable future for all stakeholders.

Montero said Pahayahay is a great asset to the town council since he is known as “kind and helpful to his constituents.”

“Bata pa unya kugihan daghan pa mabuhat sa konseho sa Dauis para hayahay tang tanan,” one supporter said.
