Bohol residents have started visiting the graves of their dead relatives earlier than usual after the provincial government ordered the closure of cemeteries on Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 to prevent the spread of Covid cases during the celebration of Kalag-Kalag.

In Tagbilaran City, police have already been deployed to public and private cemeteries to enforce minimum health protocols as residents began to flock to these areas starting on Wednesday (Oct. 27 ).

The Boholano public may visit cemeteries, memorial parks and columbaria before October 29, 2021 or after November 2, 2021, provided such visitors must be limited to ten (10) persons per group, and the venue must only allow fifty percent (50%) capacity.

At Victoria Memorial Park in Barangay Taloto in Tagbilaran City, it will be closed from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4.
