A graduate of the Bohol Island State University (BISU) -Candijay campus placed sixth in the October 2021 Fisheries Technologist Licensure Examination.

Junelou Burato Hinautan garnered a score of 83.50 percent, the sixth highest score in the exams.

Hinautan is one of the three graduates from Central Visayas who topped the examination, according to the results posted by the Professional Regulation Commission on Wednesday night, October 13.

Arnel Nudalo from Cebu Technological University (CTU)-San Francisco and Honey Lyn Gomez from CTU-Carmen ranked on the 7th and 9th place, respectively. Nudalo logged a passing rate of 83.25 percent while Gomez got 82.75 percent.

Also, two employees from BFAR Region 7 – who were among the 715 examinees – are named under the list of the 211 passers. They are Ma. Rocile Josol, an aquacultural technologist at BFAR 7 – Clarin Freshwater Fish Farm; and Elnie Dublin, an enumerator of the National Stock Assessment Program in Region 7.

The examination was administered on October 6 to 7, 2021, conducted simultaneously in 11 different areas in the country including Cebu City.
