Operatives arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Dampas in Tagbilaran City early Saturday morning.
Live-in partners Cyril Jon R. Pamaong, 25, jobless, and Charesma D. Peñaranda, 21, convenience store employee, were arrested after selling one sachet of suspected shabu to operatives who acted as poseur buyer.
They were arrested by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Bohol police’s Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) at 12:15 a. m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 in Purok 3, Barangay Dampas, Tagbilaran City.
Confiscated during the operation were twenty-three (23) packs of suspected shabu weighing around 150 grams with an estimated value of P1,020,000, buy-bust money, and other pieces of non-drug evidence.
Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 will be filed against the suspects.
