The city government of Tagbilaran rolled out an anti-Covid vaccination drive for tricycle drivers with the AstraZeneca vaccine on Saturday, July 23.

The vaccination started Friday morning at Dao Elem. School and will continue until 5 p.m.

Mayor Baba Yap said tricycle drivers are counted as essential workers and economic frontlines.

The tricycle operators and drivers’ associations in the city were informed of the event, according to the local government.

Also inoculated were national government agency employees and bank employees.

The local government said at least 600 individuals were expected to have their first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine.
