A graduate from Holy Name Universiry (formerly Divine Word College of Tagbilaran) landed in the Top 10 of the recent licensure examination for nurses, the result of which was released Friday, July 16, 2021.
Neil Ruyeras Orehuela landed in sixth place with a rating of 88 percent.
In a Facebook post, Orehuela took his appreciation to social media.
“Never doubt yourself! Focus! You can do it!” This is what I have been telling myself for months,” Orehuela said.
“I can’t thank everyone enough for helping me believe that I can make it. I am forever grateful to all of you ❤️Lord, thank you gyud kaayo! I did it, guys!” he added.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 5,008 out 7,746 examinees passed.
The nursing board exam was conducted on July 3-4, 2021 at testing centers located at Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
