A fastfood crew died and another one was injured in a motorcycle accident in Dauis town.

Police Chief Master Sergeant Cecilio Miñosa of Dauis Police Station said the latest fatal accident involved a motorcycle that slammed into another motorcycle at 5:20 p. m. on Monday afternoon, January 25.

The motorcycle driver, Rico James Caliniahan, 20, a resident of Purok 5 in Barangay Tawala in Panglao, who suffered head injuries, was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending doctor..

The other motorist, Dexter Nistal, 23, a resident of Barangay Catarman in Dauis, was also brought to the hospital. He is still in critical condition.

Witnesses told police in the report that Nistal, who was cruising along Barangay Songculan he suddenly lost control of his motorcycle, overshot his lane and crashed into the motorcycle driven by Caliniahan.
