The province of Bohol recorded two coronavirus disease (Covid-19) fatalities, 52 new cases, and 569 recoveries on Friday, Nov. 27.

In a virtual press conference, lawyer John Titus Vistal, provincial planning and development officer, said a 81-year-old woman from Barangay Poblacion in Ubay town and a 64-year-old woman from Barangay Bil-isan, Panglao were the new fatalities.

The fatality from Ubay was admitted at Don Emilio Del Valle Memorial Hospital and died due to septic shock due to infected wounds secondary to confirmed Covid-19 infection.

The woman from Panglao died while admitted at Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital in Tagbilaran due to nonproductive coughs and acute renal failure secondary to acquired pneumonia.

Majority of the 52 new cases came from residents, overseases Filipino workers and authorized residents outside residence from towns and Tagbilaran City.
