Friday the 13th accident

A delivery truck carrying sacks of rice crashed and fell on its side that killed the driver man and injured three others, along the highway in Dimiao town Friday morning, police said.
Lt. Enel Enopia, chief of the Dimiao Police Station, said Junnel Castino, 30, who was driving the truck owned by a private company was instantly killed after he was pinned down in the driver’s seat around 10 a.m. Friday.
Injured in the accident were Castino’s assistant Eldie Alingig, 33, Raymond Salva and his backrider Rene Dealagdon after they were hit by the sacks of rice causing them to crash.
The wounded, who sustained minor injuries, were brought to the hospital for treatment.
The truck came from Ubay, and was bound for Tagbilaran.
In an initial investigation, police said Castino lost control of the vehicle when he was making a turn.
