The province-wide curfew still remains in effect and the same schedule should be followed by the local government units (LGUs) under it.
In a statement on Friday, Provincial Administrator Kat Pioquinto said LGUs are βnot allowed to revise its curfew hoursβ.
Curfew is still from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The statement came after LGU – Panglao announced that it had adjusted its curfew hours from 12 midnight to 5 a.m.
Since there is an existing provincial ordinance, βthe executive orders of the mayors and even the governor cannot contravene with the ordinance and cannot be validly implemented by any LGUβ.
Governor Arthur Yap, in a Zoom conference, also said Panglao cannot implement the order.

Bohol Provincial Ordinance No. 2020-007
Sec. 6, parag. 1 (i) Province-wide curfew hours shall be imposed from 9:00 oβclock in the evening until 5:00 oβclock in the morning, except for those persons performing essential tasks such as health workers, persons working on the pharmacy store, uniformed personnel, and the like. If the local government unit has imposed an earlier curfew hour, the same prevail.
πππΎππππ 9. πππ£ππ‘π©πππ¨ ππ£π πππ£ππ¨ β Any person or entity found to have violated the section on prohibited acts shall be subjected to the following sanctions or penalties:
6. Those persons who, are not exempted and without any valid reason, are caught strolling or roaming around in public places within the curfew hours from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. shall be imposed a fine ranging from P3,000.00 to P5,000.00 or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 1 year or both, at the discretion of the court.
