At least six new cases of new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections were recorded in Bohol on Thursday, September 3.
According to Bohol Governor Arthur Yap, there were two cases (an overseas Filipino worker and a locally stranded individual) in Candijay town, one LSI in Loboc, one resident in Ubay and one resident in Tubigon town.
The patients from Ubay and Tubigon had no travel history, not an LSI nor an OFW. Swab samples were taken from them after they showed Covid-19 symptoms.
The patients were already isolated and their close contacts were also quarantined to prevent the spread of the virus.
“Pahinumdom alang sa tanan: sundon ta ang minimum health standards kanunay ug panalipdan nato ang atong kaugalingon batok sa COVID-19,” Yap said.
