At least P3.7million worth of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, was seized from a suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dao in Dauis town on Wednesday morning, August 12.
Initial investigation disclosed that joint elements of Bohol Provincial Intelligence Board and Drug Enforcement Unit (PIB/PDEU), Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU-7), Dauis Municipal Police Station and Philippine Drug Enforcement (PDEA-Bohol) identified the suspect as Carlos Butal Lamanilao, 43, resident of Purok 2 in Barangay San Isidro in San Miguel town.
Police said Lamanilao is a regional high value individual.
The suspect will face charges for violation of sections of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
