Authorities are still verifying the cost of damages from the fire that hit a boarding house inside the Blanco residence in Calceta Street in Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City on Tuesday afternoon.
Senior Fire Officer 2 Dennis Calunia of the Tagbilaran City Fire Station said investigators were still trying to estimate the damage of the fire.
The fire started from one of the rooms of the boarding house.
Authorities are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
The blaze was declared under control at 4:42 p.m.
No one was hurt.
The boarders were evacuated.
