Police personnel were deployed on Friday morning in public markets and terminals in in Bohol to make sure people observe physical distancing.
The Bohol Provincial Police Office under the leadership of Col. Joselito Clarito said they have to implement more measures to make sure that physical distancing guidelines are enforced in public places.
Police received reports that public markets appeared to ignore protocols on social distancing.
The province of Bohol is still placed under general community quarantine but it limit non-essential movement and to keep people from converging in crowded areas.
to curb the spread of Covid-19.
On Friday, there were three additional cases of Covid-19 in the province bringing to 18 recorded cases.
At Cogon Public Market and Dao Public Market, it still have one entry and exit point so it will be easier to monitor how many people are being allowed inside.
