The month of June is surely a treat to anyone who loves to witness celestial events.

There will be two celestial events this month with one happening hours from now.

On early morning tomorrow, June 6, there will be a penumbral lunar eclipse.

It occurs when the Sun, Earth, and the Moon are imperfectly aligned.

The penumbral lunar eclipse will be visible later in Bohol.

It is expected to begin at 1:45 a.m. and will peak between 3:24 a.m. to 3:41 a.m.

This will end by 5:04 a.m.

Meanwhile, there’s also an annular solar eclipse on June 21.

When an eclipse of the Sun happens in this situation, the Moon will not appear large enough to cover the disk of the Sun completely, and a rim or ring of light will remain visible in the sky. This is an annular eclipse.
