About 27 local government units in Bohol province have completed the distribution of emergency cash aid of the Social Amelioration Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
According to the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), as of May 6, there were 27 towns that completed SAP distribution before the May 7 deadline.
These are the towns of Alburquerque, Anda, Baclayon, Balilihan, Bilar, Buenavista, Candijay, Catigbian, Clarin, Corella, Dagohoy, Dimiao, Duero, Getafe, Guindulman, Inabanga, Jagna, Lila, Loay, Loboc, Pilar, Sagbayan, San Isidro, Sierra Bullones, Sikatuna, Trinidad and Tubigon.
There are 47 towns and one city in Bohol.
Pilar, Loboc, Loay, Dimiao, San Isidro, Trinidad, Getafe and Sagbayan were the top towns who finished early with the cash aid distribution.
There are 3,119 family beneficiaries in Pilar, the first town to finish the distribution.
Loboc has 2,610 allocated family beneficiaries who have claimed their emergency cash.
There are 2,671 family beneficiaries in Loay town.
Trinidad town has distributed emergency cash subsidy to 3,859 family beneficiaries.
Sagbayan has 2,847 family beneficiaries.
All 2,970 family beneficiaries Getafe already received their emergency cash subsidy of the SAP.
All 1,083 family beneficiaries in Sikatuna received their cash aide.
There were 3,400 family beneficiaries in Sierra Bullones who received the cash subsidy, while
in Dagohoy there 1,880 family beneficiaries.
In Balilihan town, 2,593 family beneficiaries received their cash aide.
According to DSWD-Central Visayas, Bohol has 135,574 low income families that have already received the emergency cash aid amounting to P831 million.
Bohol province has a total of 181,710 low income beneficiaries with an allocation of P1.09 billion.
The DILG has earlier urged DSWD to finish the SAP distribution nationwide by May 7.
