A man from Dauis town who posessed a unique quarantine pass was questioned by Tagbilaran City police on Monday.
According to their report, while personnel of the Tagbilaran City Police conducted ” Oplan Sita” on Monday, April 13, one of them was able to check a person who had a unique pass.
The police confiscated the pass issued to a 24-year-old man from Barangay Totolan in Dauis town.
The man was brought to Tagbilaran City PS for further investigation.
Investigation revealed that the person was surprised why he was being issued a “Tukis Pass” that differs from other barangays.
The man told police that the lady who gave it didn’t mention who issued his pass.
According to the now deleted report posted on Tagbilaran PNP Facebook page, it was not the barangay captain in Dauis town who issued it.
Police didn’t discount the possibility of illegal cockfighting activities.
“Was this unique pass an indication that illegal cockfight exists? Or just an honest mistake?” police asked.
The man was released and advised to go to their barangay for clarification and to ask for a new Home Quarantine Pass instead.
