The number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the Central Visayas rose to 30 with an additional five new cases, the Department of Health (DOH) Central Visayas Center reported on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
The DOH – 7 said among the five new cases, two are from Cebu City which still tops the list among all areas in Central Visayas.
Cebu City has two additional confirmed cases, bringing the total cases in the city to 20.
The province of Negros Oriental also has two additional cases, bringing its total to four.
Cebu Province has one additional case bringing the cases in the province to two.
The provinces of Bohol and Siquijor and the highly urbanized cities of Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue have no additional cases.
Bohol has one confirmed COVID-19 case, a Chinese woman who was recovered and discharged last January 31, 2020.
