Days after announcing that ports, wharfs and schools would join the list of closures in Bohol, Governor Arthur Yap announced a curfew and additional restrictions.
The province-wide curfew begins tonight, Wednesday, March 18, and will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and requires all residents to remain in their homes.
It shall apply to all establishments and individuals in the province.
Exempted are pharmacies, employees and workers of telecommunications, electricity and water utilities doing maintenance or emergency repair works, medical personnel, land, air and sea travel of uniformed personnel and life threatening emergency cases.
Bohol is placed under community quarantine until Friday, March 20, 2020.
