The Bohol Provincial Police Office will be manning the entry and exit points in Bohol for the “community quarantine” that is set to be implemented on Monday, March 16.

Police Col. Jonathan Cabal, acting director of the BPPO, said that the BPPO will handle checkpoints in Bohol for the community quarantine implementation to contain the new coronavirus disease or COVID-19.

“We are ready,” said Cabal.

Bohol Governor Arthur Yap announced Friday morning that he is placing the entire Bohol under a “community quarantine” over the pandemic.

The quarantine period will be on March 16 to 20 that banned tourists who are coming to Bohol.

However, it could be extended if necessary.

Yap also disallowed public gatherings. Even cockfighting is also prohibited for a month.
