Jagna’s waste facility catches fire

The solid waste facility in Jagna town caught fire at about 8 a.m. on Saturday (Feb 29).The fire quickly spread due to strong winds and firefighters are having a hard time trying to put it out.As of 2 p.m. today, the fire is still raging.Residents said the fire started at 8 a.m. in Sitio Carmoli in Barangay Pagina.Firefighters from other towns already came to help contain it.It is not yet known, as of this writing, what also caused it.
