2,600 passengers stranded in Cebu and Bohol ports due to Ursula

More than 2,000 passengers are stranded in some ports in Cebu and Bohol provinces today after the storm signal was hoisted earlier this morning.

According to the data provided by the Philippine Coast Guard in Central Visayas (PCG-7), a total of 2,610 passengers were not able to push through with their travels today, a day before Christmas Eve.

In Bohol province alone, there were a total of 760 stranded passengers.

Most these are stranded in the ports of Tagbilaran City, Jagna and Getafe.

As early as 11a.m. today, PCG-7 has sent out a notice to mariners informing them of the current weather situation.

Oceanjet thru its Facebook page announced the cancellation of its trips in the afternoon.

Lite Shipping also announced the cancellation of their trips.
