A high-value target (HVT) was arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday.
Tagbilaran City Police arrested Carlo Arayata Cañada, 42, in Barangay Cogon at past 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Police said that they considered Cañado as a high value target after they placed him under surveillance for weeks.
He said that Cañado was allegedly selling illegal drugs in the neighboring barangays in the city.
Tagbilaran police officers confiscated sachets of suspected shabu, which had an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P238,000.
