It’s just a day before Undas 2019 or better known as “Kalag-Kalag” for Cebuano-speaking provinces especially in Central Visayas.
Even days ahead of this annual remembering of departed loved ones, preparations are being made.
Bohol Island News (BIN) staff visited some of the cemeteries located in the capital city of Tagbilaran and checked out some preparations being made there.’

There are at least 5,000 remains that are laid here.

He has long been a caretaker of the cemetery.
He has some reminders for those who will be visiting the cemetery.
“Bawal sa pag-inum, tabako, sugal, video k, kanang kanta-kanta bitaw , bawal namo na..Ang importante diri pagpangaje sa lubong sa mahal sa kinabuhi. Dili ko gusto kanang kanta-kanta bitaw gusto nako mangadji,” said Garit.

Improvised trash bins are being painted.
Caretakers say they are putting these up to accommodate bigger volumes of trash that will be accummulated during the two-day observance of Kalag-Kalag.
