A total of P33,000 in cash was taken from two collectors in two separate robbery incidents in Bohol province on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
The first robbery incident happened at the Bool Junction in Bool District, Tagbilaran City at 11:45 a.m.
According to the reports furnished by the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO), the first victim was identified as Franklin Abuyabor, a sales distributor personnel of a cell depot.
The suspects were two men onboard a motorcycle who stopped Abuyabor while he was on his way to collect other payments.
It was the back rider who pointed a gun at Abuyabor and declared hold up.
The suspects were able to take the cash amounting to P15,000 from the victim.
The second robbery reportedly happened at 3:30 p.m. or more than three hours since the first incident was reported.
This time, the robbers’ victim was a collector of a lending firm identified as Manuel Amper.
Amper was robbed in Barangay Katipunan, Carmen town.
Based on the police investigation, the suspects followed him around. When they had the opportunity to rob him, one of the riders pointed a gun at him and declared hold up.
They took his bag that contained cash amounting to P18,000 and a cell phone valued at P899.
