A man who was buying meals was shot dead in Corella t0wn on Monday morning.
Corella Police Station identified the fatality as Elmer Matias, 30, a quarry worker.
According to police, at past 10:45 a.m. on Monday, Matias was driving his motorcycle to buy viands in Sikatuna town. When he was on his way to the quarry, he was shot by unidentified suspect at Km 13 in Barangay Canapnapan in Corella town.
He sustained a gunshot wound in the head.
Three empty shells were discovered at the crime scene.
Investigation is ongoing.
