A watersprout was spotted over Tagbilaran Bay around noon on Tuesday, June 18.
Laila Bernido, who was at her office at the 3rd floor of the New Provincial Capitol, said she observed an unusual formation over the clouds which she said seemed like a tornado.
The waterspout, which formed over the sea between Bohol and Siquijor, was spotted at past 12 p.m.
However, the waterspout quickly dissipated after five minutes.
According to state weather bureau Pagasa, waterspouts usually occur during a thunderstorm and would quickly disappear.
