A man who was previously arrested for a drug charge was shot and killed infront of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in this city on Monday afternoon.
Police identified the victim as Richard alias “Bagtok” De Leon, 20, a resident of Poblacion 3, Tagbilaran.
Police reports said that at past 2 p.m. on Monday, De Leon who was driving his motorcycle with his girlfriend was shot in front of the LTO office by motorcycle-riding men.
The suspects who were wearing helmets immediately fled the area.
He sustained a single gunshot wound in the head. He was still rushed to the Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital but he later died of his injury.
De Leon’s girlfriend was uninjured, according to police.
Police are still investigating the case.
