A man from Dumanjug, Cebu, is seeking information on the whereabouts of a 29-year-old woman from Batuan, Bohol, who allegedly left their home and was reported missing along with a large sum of money and valuables.
In a Facebook post, Wardski Gica said the woman, identified as Renjelme Pangan Talan, also known as “Rheign” or “Montero Rheign” on Facebook, had been working as a nanny for his 6-year-old daughter since Aug. 23, 2026.
Gica said his wife informed him at around 7:55 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, that Talan was no longer at their house while he was out of town.
His wife also discovered that a large sum of money, a watch and jewelry she had kept inside her bag were missing, according to Gica.
He said he advised his wife to inform their village security guards and report the incident to the police for documentation in the police blotter.
Gica also claimed that they had verified that Talan had an outstanding arrest warrant in connection with a previous case in Bohol. He said they suspected she might still be in Cebu.
Attempts to contact Talan through her mobile phone and Facebook Messenger were unsuccessful, as she had allegedly blocked the family, Gica said.
He appealed to the public to provide information about her whereabouts and report any leads to him or the nearest police station.
Gica also cautioned the public against confronting the woman.
The reported disappearance of the money and valuables, as well as the circumstances surrounding the incident, remain subject to police investigation. The allegations have not been independently verified.
