TAGBILARAN CITY—Bohol Show Ocean Fantasy Corp. has announced the temporary closure of its attraction until further notice and warned the public against dealing with a former representative of the company.
In a public notice dated Sept. 11, the company said Bohol Show Ocean Fantasy is temporarily closed until further notice, without providing details on the reason for the closure.
The company also announced that Deng Xiang is no longer connected with Bohol Show Ocean Fantasy Corp. and is not authorized to represent the company or conduct transactions on its behalf.
According to the notice, Deng is not authorized or empowered to transact, enter into contracts or agreements, receive payments, make commitments, or undertake any transaction purportedly for the company.
The company advised the public, clients, customers, suppliers, business partners and other concerned parties not to enter into any transaction or dealing with Deng Xiang purportedly on behalf of Bohol Show Ocean Fantasy Corp.
It said any transaction, representation, agreement, undertaking, collection or commitment made by Deng without the company’s express written authority would be considered unauthorized and would not be recognized or honored by the company, to the extent permitted by law.
The company further urged those planning to enter into transactions purportedly involving Bohol Ocean Fantasy to first verify directly with its duly authorized representatives.
The notice was issued “for the information, guidance, and protection of the public.”
As of publication, Deng Xiang has not issued an official statement regarding the company’s announcement or the claims made in the notice.
The company did not specify when Bohol Show Ocean Fantasy would resume operations.
