Bohol 1st District Representative Edgar Chatto formalized his reelection bid as he filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for Bohol’s 1st District congressional seat on Monday afternoon, Oct. 7, 2024.
Chatto arrived at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) provincial office in Tagbilaran at 2:30 p. m. He was accompanied by his wife, Balilihan Mayor Pureza Chatto, and daughter Balilihan Vice Mayor Trisha Chatto.
“With the support of the people, ready to serve gihapon ta in my last term,” he told members of the medi.
“Puhon maluoy ang Ginoo and with the support of our people,” he added.
Chatto previously served as representative in the first district from 2001- 2010. He served as 25th governor of Bohol for three terms from 2010 to 2019.
