HNU grad top 3 in Criminology licensure exam

A graduate from the Holy Name University made it to the top 10 of the July-August 2024 Criminology Licensure Exam, the Professional Regulation Commission announced Friday, Aug. 23, 2024.

Leziel Tumampos Jucotmaya, who hails from Sevilla town, ranked third with 91.30 percent rating. She shared the same spot with Mark Rio Guadalquiver of University of Mindanao-Tagum.

Meanwhile, Alyssa Eliana Bautista of Araullo University was the top scorer with an average of 92.10 percent.

PRC announced that 11,121 out of 22,539 (49.34%) successfully passed the July-August 2024 CLE. According to PRC, “The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.”

The Criminologist Board exam took place on July 31, 2024 – August 2, 2024, across testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bohol, Cauayan (Isabela), Dumaguete, Kidapawan and Rosales (Pangasinan).

The Board of Criminology is led by its Chairman, Ramil Gabao, and its members,  Lani Palmones, and Warren Corpuz.
